This is the Mainstage Backing Track template!
I have a love-hate relationship with backing track softwares.
Normally my go-to is Ableton, but the problem is that I love learning new softwares to see if it's better for me than a different one. I don't know why. I just love it!
I already had Mainstage. I've used it for keys, for patches, for everything like that. Why wasn't I running my backing tracks through it too?
That's the question that started all of this.
And that's where this template comes in!
Mainstage is incredibly powerful for live performance. With the right setup, you can run your click, your stems, your MIDI, and your patches all from one place.
But not only that! This template has custom click tracks, multi-track audio playback, MIDI control, auto-stop at the end of songs, and a clean layout that you can completely change if you want to.
And this isn't a one-and-done template. I'll keep updating it as Mainstage evolves and as I find better ways to do things on stage. Updates are completely free.

Free Samples
The template includes free, ready-to-use click samples pre-loaded into Mainstage. These are the exact samples I use live — just swap in your own if you want, or use them straight away.
Pre-Built Concert
The Mainstage concert file comes fully pre-built. All your channels are labelled, your outputs are assigned, and your audio players are ready to load. Just drag in your stems and you're good to go.
Integrated Click System
The click system is built directly into the concert. Each song can have its own click sound, tempo, and channel routing. This means you have control over the accent, quarter notes, 8th notes, and 16th notes.

What happens when I purchase?
You will be given an immediate download link containing the Mainstage file and a setup PDF guiding you through the features.
What is a 1 year licence?
This gives you access to all of the updates throughout your purchase term. For example, if you choose to purchase this for 1 month*, you'll get any updates that happen within that month. Same thing for a year.
*Updates are not guaranteed to happen in a specific month. I use this template on lots of shows every week and will update it as and when is required with new features.
Can I request features?
Yes! Everytime I send out a new update, you can reply to that email and I'll get back to you. :)
I don't use a Mac, will it still work?
Sadly not. Mainstage is a Mac-only application made by Apple, so it requires a Mac to run.
I don't have an SPD-SX, do I need one?
Not at all! The project is mapped to the SPD-SX and will include more products whenever I get my hands on them, but you do not need one for this project.
