This is the Logic Backing Track template!
When I first learnt how to use backing tracks, it was on an MP3 player with the click panned to the left and the tracks panned to the right.
I will always remember frantically having to hit the pause button before the next track started.
Then, I came across what other people where doing and I was a little disappointed to see that I had to learn another DAW just to run backing tracks.
I already know how to use Logic, so why couldn't I just use that?
That's where this template comes in!
Over the years, Logic Pro has become more and more powerful. To the point where I can almost replicate the Ableton rig I've used across hundreds of shows in Logic! It made me so happy to find this out.
This template has everything from custom clicks, MIDI control, Sampling, Multi-track and simple track layout, Auto-stop at the end of songs, skip to the next song, the list carries on!
Also, this isn't a one-and-done template – I'll be updating it with support for stuff like the Alesis SamplePad 4, Roland TM-2, SPD-SX PRO, and pretty much any other pad I can get my hands on. Updates are completely free.

Free Samples
In the template there are free, pre-mapped kick, claps, and hats samples ready to go. These are my most used samples when it comes to shows, so I thought you should have them too! These are already mapped to the SPD-SX (with more products coming soon), just change the MIDI settings and you're good to go!
Pre-Built Tracks
The template comes with some pre-made audio tracks grouped to one place. These are separate to your click outputs and mean you can drag and drop in your audio whenever it's ready, speeding up your build time and making performances happen quicker.

I've always loved the idea of a drag-and-drop MIDI in Ableton, so I brought it to Logic! Customisable clicks so you can hear what you want, when you want, throughout the gig. I'm really proud of it.

What happens when I purchase?
You will be given an immediate download link that has the Logic template and a setup video guiding you through the features of the template.
What is a 1 year licence?
This gives you access to all of the updates throughout your purchase term. For example, if you choose to purchase this for 1 month*, you'll get any updates that happen within that month. Same thing for a year.
*Updates are not guaranteed to happen in a specific month. I use this template on lots of shows every week and will update it as and when is required with new features.
Can I request features?
Yes! Everytime I send out a new update, you can reply to that email and I'll get back to you. :)
I don't use a Mac, will it still work?
Sadly not. Logic Pro is unfortunately a Mac-only software as it's made by Apple.
I don't have an SPD-SX, do I need one?
Not at all! The project is mapped to the SPD-SX and will include more products whenever I get my hands on them, but you do not need one for this project.
