When I first learnt how to use backing tracks, it was on an MP3 player with the click panned to the left and the tracks panned to the right.
I will always remember frantically having to hit the pause button before the next track started.
Then, I came across what other people where doing and I was a little disappointed to see that I had to learn another DAW just to run backing tracks.
I already knew how to use Logic, so why couldn't I just use that?
That's where this template comes in!
Over the years, Logic Pro has become more and more powerful. To the point where I can almost replicate the Ableton rig I've used across hundreds of shows in Logic! It made me so happy to find this out.
This template has everything from custom clicks, MIDI control, Sampling, Multi-track and simple track layout, Auto-stop at the end of songs, skip to the next song, the list carries on!
Also, this isn’t a one-and-done template – I’ll be updating it with support for stuff like the Alesis SamplePad 4, Roland TM-2, SPD-SX PRO, and pretty much any other pad I can get my hands on. Updates are completely free.
