This is the Ableton Backing Track template!
This template is all about making your life easier when you open up Ableton. It’s set up for fast workflow – you just drop in a few folders (click MIDI, click sounds, samples, and song sections) and you’re good to go. There’s a custom click device that lets you adjust volumes for accents, quarters, eighths, sixteenths – I’ve set you up with a click sound, but there’s a custom section for you to chuck your own sounds in, too! Tempo automation is built-in too, so you can easily set your BPM for each song.
Also, this isn’t a one-and-done template – I’ll be updating it with support for stuff like the Alesis SamplePad 4, Roland TM-2, SPD-SX PRO, and pretty much any other pad I can get my hands on. Updates are completely free.

Free Samples
In the template there are free, pre-mapped kick, claps, and hats samples ready to go. These are my most-used samples when it comes to shows, so I thought you should have them too! These are already mapped to the SPD-SX (with more products coming soon), as well as an included SPD-SX kit that you can load straight on with the MIDI settings pre-loaded.
Pre-Built Tracks
The template comes with some pre-made audio tracks grouped to one place. These are separate to your click outputs and mean you can drag and drop in your audio whenever it’s ready, speeding up your build time and making performances happen quicker.
Built In Setlist Control
With the drag-and-drop style song sections, these automatically apply to software such as AbleSet. So you can build your show, and have it immediately customisable within AbleSet’s parameters. (AbleSet is sold separately. Use code “DrumElectric” for 10% off!)

What happens when I purchase?
You will be given an immediate download link that has the Ableton template and a setup video guiding you through the feautres of the template.
What is a 1 year licence?
This gives you access to all of the updates throughout your purchase term. For example, if you choose to purchase this for 1 month*, you'll get any updates that happen within that month. Same thing for a year.
*Updates are not guaranteed to happen in a specific month. I use this template on lots of shows every week and will update it as and when is required with new features.
Can I request features?
Yes! Everytime I send out a new update, you can reply to that email and I'll get back to you. :)
I don’t use AbleSet, do I have to purchase it?
No! I have personally made this template with as many features that I think are helpful. AbleSet is something I use on every Ableton-run show but you don’t have to!
I don't have an SPD-SX, do I need one?
Not at all! The project is mapped to the SPD-SX and will include more products whenever I get my hands on them, but you do not need one for this project.
